Shipping Policy: Everything you need to know about how we ship your order

Standard Delivery: 5 to 18 business days (tracking included)


Please note: Business days do not include weekends or public holidays.

Shipping Delays

​

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., carrier issues, weather, customs, or high-volume periods). We kindly ask for your patience and understanding in such rare instances.

If there are no tracking updates for 30 to 60 business days, we will gladly issue a replacement package.

​

Delays are more common during peak seasons (especially November–December) and during promotional periods.

Return & Refund Policy: Customer Satisfaction and Fair Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from the Synergy and Serenity online store, you are welcome to return it.

​

Under our enhanced return policy, eligible items may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund.
 

Please note: Sale items are non-refundable unless they are faulty or not as described.

Membership Policy: Terms of Membership & Consumer Rights

When you sign up for a membership with Synergy and Serenity, you’re agreeing to the terms outlined in this policy. These terms help ensure clarity for everyone and are in line with consumer protection laws in the District of Columbia.

Membership Term

All memberships require a 10-month commitment. Early termination is only permitted under the specific conditions outlined below.


Minors: Individuals under the age of 18 must have the written consent of a parent or legal guardian to register for a membership.

Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to info@synergyandserenitydc.com. We do not accept cancellations by phone, though questions regarding the policy may be answered verbally for clarification.


Your membership does not end immediately upon cancellation. Instead, the following month will be your final billing cycle, and your access will continue through the end of that month.​​​

1. Relocation (25+ Miles) – No Fee
You may cancel your membership without penalty if relocating 25 or more miles from the home address listed on your original agreement.


You must submit proof of relocation as a PDF by the end of the month in which you intend to cancel.
Accepted forms of documentation include:

  • Lease or mortgage agreement

  • Updated driver’s license

  • Utility bill with your name and new address

 

Note: We do not accept travel itineraries or flight confirmations.


Example: To cancel for August, documents must be received by July 31.

2. Employment Relocation – Early Termination Fee (15%)


If your employer relocates your workplace 25+ miles away (while your residence remains the same), you may cancel by paying an early termination fee of 15% of the remaining contract balance.


Proof of employment relocation is required.
Both payment and supporting documents must be submitted
by the end of the month of your intended cancellation.


Example: Submit documentation and payment by July 31 to avoid charges for August.

3. Non-Relocation Cancellations – Buyout Fee (30%)


If you wish to cancel for any reason other than relocation or medical/military exception, you must pay a buyout fee equal to 30% of your remaining contract balance.


Payment must be made by the end of the month to avoid the next month's charge.


Example: Pay by July 31 to avoid being billed for August.

4. Medical or Military Exceptions – No Fee


You may cancel without penalty in the following cases:

  • Medical Condition: Requires a signed letter from a licensed healthcare provider stating that continued participation is not advised.

  • Military Relocation: Requires official military transfer or deployment orders.

Additional Terms

 

No Refund Policy
Synergy and Serenity maintains a strict no-refund policy. This applies to:

  • Missed or unused classes/sessions

  • Promotional discounts or coupons

  • Partial membership months

 

All members are encouraged to fully utilize their benefits within the billing period.

Membership Benefits

Membership includes access to exclusive classes, wellness sessions, and discounts. Please ensure your email address and phone number are up-to-date to receive important notifications.

Policy Updates
Synergy and Serenity reserves the right to amend this Membership Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and updated on our official website.

Legal Notice – DC Consumer Protection Compliance


This policy is designed in accordance with the District of Columbia Consumer Protection Procedures Act (D.C. Code § 28-3901 et seq.).


By enrolling, you acknowledge understanding and acceptance of these terms.
Unfair trade practices, including unauthorized charges or misrepresentations, are prohibited by DC law.


We strive to remain in full compliance and protect your consumer rights.
